The IJsselmeer beach is nearby. 't Mirnser Klif is less than 6 km away, where you have a beautiful view of the IJsselmeer from the pavilion.
There is a beach and plenty of space to enjoy the sun. It is also a Valhalla for (kite) surfers. So in strong winds, definitely go there and have a look. Or go (kite)surfing yourself!
